Depends on the resolution and the hdmi version, but assuming you're playing at 1080p or 1440p and have a hdmi 2.0 it can output more than 120hz, at least according to Wikipedia. Gsync wouldnt work but I think tearing would be less of an issue than the stutters.
Indeed. This game will not work ideally. The stutter is baked into the engine pipeline which can be altered by the game studio. The game was optimized for shared console resources since consoles share GDDR6 as system and gpu ram. A standardized architecture on console nowadays. This introduced a stutter issue which related to the rendering
I'm kind of baffled at this game's performance. I've read that everyone has this loading stutter. But it goes beyond that. To preface, my specs are i7 8700k RTX 2080ti XC 16gb DDR4 Windows 10 Installed on an SSD I'm playing on a gysnc 1440p monitor. This game runs at like 130 at the highest, but there are parts of the game like the landing area on Kashyyk that run at like as low as 65fps. The
Hardly any game is really smooth, but the extent of the stuttering in Fallen Order spoils the gaming experience a lot. Going from ultra to medium doesn't fix the problem at all. Lowering the settings does result in a higher overall frame rate, but the dips into the low 50s remain Playing around with Vsync won't help either. (also Vsync on feels
i9-9900k (running on turbo, no OC), Gigabyte RTX 3080 OC, 32GB DDR4 RAM @3600MHz, SSD. Game runs at an almost flawless 144FPS in 1440p fully maxed graphix, render scale at 100%. lol every benchmark that is out there says otherwise. Atleast post a link to a short video if you're going to claim something like that lol.
Quick Stuttering fix. I've been struggling with fixing the stuttering issues on PC, and I might have found an easy solution for this. Since I haven't seen this particular fix posted, thought I would share here: Besides the most common ones: turning off windows game mode and setting the game to launch in fullscreen instead of windowed borderless
One thing you can try if you haven't yet, while JFO is running, open task manager, select JFO's process, right click and select details, and set the priority to High. It defaults to normal, but this will make sure your CPU focuses on making the game run smoothly, especially if it's not making out your CPU and you are still getting the
5. Witch_King_. • 7 mo. ago. Considering the current state of the first game on PC, it is unlikely that Survivor will ever be "totally fixed". But it will hopefully get to a "good enough" point where most crashes are fixed. 4. TheRealSeeThruHead. • 7 mo. ago. what if its never fixed. that's most likely.
The game doesn't feel very smooth at all. It feels like it hangs or hiccups every so often when it comes to loading things. I'm on a 2080ti and 9900k, game defaulted to Ultra, and the fps ranges from 144 to 90, but it doesn't just dip in frame rate, it literally hangs sometimes when I'm turning the camera or moving to a new location. Lowering settings still gave me the hang even if my frame

Regardless of the UE flaws, there are some problems with this game in particular. Most of the stuttering occurs in the same places during gameplay, when the game is performing the same tasks. Play long enough and you'll notice it, as it becomes predictable. The second paragraph does apply, though.
PS4 cutscene stuttering : r/FallenOrder. I’m at the point in my play though where I have just met Saw and the cutscene lags every 2-3 seconds making it extremely frustrating because I actually have an interest in the story. I saw a post about turning share usage data on and off but that has had no effect.
The real secret us, there's several possible sources of stuttering, but only one (area transition stutter, from the underlying Unreal Engine 4) is nearly impossible to eliminate, although you can still minimize it to some extent. If you are seeing *constant* stuttering, in the other hand, it should be nearly, or even fully addressable.
